Echoes of Glory just hit 100 reviews on Amazon, and it has a 4.8 star average there.  I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you, not just for your response to this book or series, but to all of my books.  I know everyone is busy, and taking the time to leave a review can really be a pain.  For those of you who do, just be aware that I greatly appreciate it…and it is immensely gratifying to see the response, especially to my latest Blood on the Stars books.

Today is a suitable day for me to post about this, and to generally express my appreciation not only for those of you who write reviews, but for all my readers.  Five years ago today, I published Marines on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.  Though I had written a considerable amount of work related material before, Marines was my first fiction, or at least the first I finished.  It sold a couple copies a day for a week and a half or so, and then for reasons I’ve never been able to explain, the sales just started to spike sharply, and the rest, as they say, is history.

My next milestone should come later this year, when I sell my one millionth book ( I will accompany that event with a suitable blog post!).  That is something else that would have been impossible without all of you.  So, thanks for taking a chance on whichever of my books was your first, and I hope you continue to enjoy them as I manage to write them.
